YAKIMA, Wash.- Yakima Valley College’s Diversity Series to host a culture fair in February.
A series of events will be hosted by Yakima Valley College in Yakima and Grandview.
The first event fair will be in Yakima on Tuesday, Feb. 25, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the HUB at S 16th Ave and W Nob Hill Blvd, Yakima, WA.
This event will feature a variety of performances and presentations to showcase a variety of cultures. The event is free and open to anyone who wishes to attend. Light refreshments will be available.
The Grandview culture fair will be Wednesday, Feb. 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Held at the Student Activity Center at S 16th Ave and W Nob Hill Blvd, Yakima, WA.
This event will also host performances and presentations to showcase diversity but will also feature a performance by Bert & Det of Genius Potential, in honor of Black History Month: “Epic Rap Battles of Black History.”
The Grandview event will be free and open to the public.
On Thursday, Feb. 27 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. The Yakima Valley College Diversity Series Black History Luncheon will be held in the Kaminski Conference Center. This luncheon will feature a performance by Genius Potential. The luncheon is free but registration is required and can be done so here
