HOUSTON (KTRK) – A passenger aboard a United Airlines flight from Bush Intercontinental Airport captured dramatic footage on Sunday morning, showing flames visible below the plane as it prepared for takeoff.

The incident prompted an emergency response and the immediate evacuation of all passengers and crew members.

United Flight 1382, scheduled to depart for LaGuardia Airport in New York, was forced to abort its takeoff shortly after 8:30 a.m. when an engine issue was detected on the runway. In response, the Houston Fire Department arrived at the scene as part of standard safety procedures, assisting with the deplaning of all passengers.

Airport authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported. A total of 104 passengers and five crew members were on board.

After safely exiting the aircraft, all were bussed back to the terminal.
